Service was tremendous, staff was knowledgeable, and presented many options for repair, with honest recommendations on necessity versus nice to have in the form of an estimate. I have been other places, they are the best so far.
Showed up early bc I thought it'd take longer to get there from DSM and they got me in before my appointment time! Very friendly and helpful staff!
I brought my vehicle in for an alignment after having another shop replace ball joints and other steering components. The previous shop was unable to complete the alignment because they didn't have the part and I was traveling and couldn't wait. They told me I needed a camber/caster bushing and that it would be easy to install. The mechanic at Graham Tire quoted me over $400 (3.0 hours of labor) to replace the part, that after removal of the tire, required the removal of one bolt to replace. I told him what the other mechanic said and he outright lied to me saying, "It's not that simple." and that he would have to redo the previous work. That was a complete lie and when I questioned him again, he continued to lie and say, "It's not that simple." I would never take a vehicle here. If I didn't know better, they would have overcharged me for simple work. Beware.
Reasonable price for the work done. Estimate for more extensive work was in line with a local transmission garage.
I had blown a tire near Mason City on an emergency trip to Nebraska. I hobbled to Ames to get closer to a tire store for the next morning. I tried a chain store that told me 12:00 was the earliest they could fit me in. They recommended I try Graham Tire. I arrived shortly after they opened and they made time to get my car in, mount and balance 2 new tires and had me on my way to Nebraska by 8:30. Vicky and the rest of the staff was friendly and very helpful during a stressful time. I highly recommend them.
