The Ankeny Vet Clinic is hands down the best place to take pets in the area. The facilities are updated and clean, the vets are top notch, and the prices are super fair. The Riordan brothers (Dr. Dennis and Dr. Terry Riordan) are especially friendly and knowledgeable. They explain every diagnosis and procedure to me, and I never feel rushed or unappreciated. I highly recommend this clinic!

Nice caring staff, great with my dog
This vet clinic would rather make a buck than take care of a sick cat. They would rather let a pet suffer and not prescribe the medication it has been on for years to make it more affordable so they can get 100 bucks a visit every month. I could have enough medicine for over a year for $30 online but they refuse to set a prescription so they can get their 100 dollars a month from me. They don't care about animals, they care only about money.
