There were two men at the Geek Squad counter, both engaged with customers. One man was engaged with a man and his wife, and they were engaged with the internet, maybe having a "class". The other man with a beard finished up with his customer, then stood listening to the customer explain something. During this time the young man with the beard and I made eye contact more than once. Finally their conversation was over; the young man with the beard turned around, picked up what appeared to be a closed notebook computer, and walked by me and through plastic curtains into the back room. I figured he would return shortly, but, he did not. I waited, then waited some more. He did not return. So, I left the store, went to my car, picked up my new wall mount for my newly purchased, at Best Buy, LG Smart TV, and reentered the store, went to the customer service desk and returned my wall mount kit which I had purchased within the past minutes. I walked out of the store a happy man. I doubt if I will ever use the Geek Squad for anything ever again. The young man with a beard would have been fired, from my perspective, in any of the various retail stores where I had the privilege of working and learning the retail business.
The salesman who help me was on me the minute I walked in the door.told him what I was looking for and he lead me right to it. Explained different features of different models to help me make my decision. I then needed two other items, asked if they sold them there and again he walked me right to the items and helped me find two items by the title I needed. Very professional to work with. With his help I was in and out of the store in about 15 minutes instead of my planned 1/2 hour plus, as I didn't know where the different items were. I will definitely go back to this store to shop. It was a real pleasure to see someone so courteous, and knowledgeable about their products. Thank you.
Typical best buy establishment. Most of the time they are overly helpful. Sometimes not so much.
The young salesman did a great job answering my questions and gave me four choices of wall mounts for my new TV. I selected one based on our needs and price range and went ahead and purchased it on the way out. I placed the mounting bracket in my car and returned to the store to talk with the Geek Squad, as I had a question regarding mounting the tv to my new mounting bracket
I had a best buy card and I've come into this store a couple of times, always treated well. But last time I went took my sister to buy her a computer and notice that one person was obviously not a shopper and was following. You messed up bud kiss $3500+ I spend a year good buy. I do all my shopping on amazon now, the prices are great theres way more variety of items available :)
Awful service. I was trying to find out if they had the tablet i was looking for, I called three different times. The first time I waited on hold for 5 minuets before being disconnected. The second Time I waited on hold for awhile, someone answered and asked me what i was looking for , placed me back in hold immediately and then after 10 minuets i was disconnected again. The third time I waited on hold and was connected to the same person as before, this time he answered right away. There’s a reason best buy is becoming less and less popular, this is one of them.
