When I needed help carting a large item, the associate cheerfully loaded it and helped me find related items. She walked us to an open register for quick check-out. Then they helped load it into my vehicle. Very pleasant experience!
Word of caution: I would highly recommend not using this Target's location for "pick-up." I ordered 2 items that were in stock at this Target's location (said both items were available on Target website) and went to pick them up-once I received the email for the items. However, once I got there they only had one of the items which I found odd-considering they charged my card for both items. So I went and looked at the item in the aisle it said it would be in via the Target website- and they they had it. Took the product up to customer service and said, "hey, here's the item right here," then the irritation occurred. The manager came over and basically wasted 20 minutes of my time (and the people standing behind me) as I showed them the email I received that both items were ready for pick-up and they charged my card. The manager acknowledged this; however, he just stood there for legit 17 min saying "this is odd," I don't know why they charged you when they were both ready--"I've never seen this before." Blah blah blah. So I said, "Okay, can I take the item now?" He told me no, I was like what? He said that one of the products was shipping from another target--even though it was right there. The offer he gave me was, "I can cancel this order," and you can just buy this one, and I will put the money back on your card. I refused, no way was I going to risk paying for the item again and then get screwed. It was annoying, I felt bad people had to wait on me for 20 minutes when the manager just stood and literally looked at my phone and kept mumbling "I don't know why they charged you." Also, he was sneezing, coughing loudly, not covering his mouth/nose-- and wiping his nose with his hand and touching my phone. It was gross, even other people were standing back from him.
What can I say? I can't get out of a Target without spending hundreds of dollars. With their cartwheel app, Red Card, and scouring their many sales, I get good quality stuff at great prices. I have even started using Target Optical for my glasses and I am pleased. I purchased a pair of Vogue sunglasses and regular glasses and I love the style, quality, and price. I paid less than $500 for both pairs and got top quality lenses in the regular glasses. In comparison, my last purchase if sunglasses and eye glasses at an optical shop cost me more than $700.
I was somewhat frustrated at this Target. Looking for baby toys/clothes and everything was hard to find. Had to ask 2 other customers in baby dept if they knew where things were. (No staff around). Got what I could and left. Not sure why people love Target. I am not a fan.
ABOVE & BEYOND: every time I visit this Target location, daily it seems, the Team Members go above & beyond my expectations in every capacity! Friendliness, willingness to help, service with a smile, and even empathy and compassion. I say that not just because I am a disabled “adaptive shopper” but because of the passion I see from employees like Team Leader Laura, and Mercedes, Dan in Customer Service, and each member on the floor stocking shelves. Whoever is doing the hiring their should be commended because these employees at this Target location warm my heart each and every time I come in! God bless
