Really a good place to visit.

Smaller aviation museum, still has a lot of interesting items. I found the non-aircraft (as a whole) pieces to be the more interesting aspects of this museum. They have a cutaway WASP engine which is set up to rotate- really fascinating. I wasn't able to see the working aircraft as they were away at the time. Really friendly and knowable staff/volunteers. Recommend for anyone passing through the Des Moines Area. No cost to enter.
