Since age 10 my back has been giving me trouble. Whenever it got too bad and painful I would visit a chiropractor for an adjustment. Whenever I would lift too many heavy things (like moving to a new apartment) there was always a price to pay - but we do what we have to in life. Now approaching my sixth decade the wear and tear was becoming a daily issue (getting up from sitting was painful, frequent stiff neck, and my head was tilted slightly to one side).
My Facebook alerted me to Dr. Jordan and Ankeny Chiropractic Health Center. I started treatments two month's ago, my back doesn't hurt when I stand up, no more stiff neck, no more head tilt, and best of all - the rounding of my shoulders (into the beginning of a dowager's hump) is straightening out! Who knew that could be corrected? Dr. Jordan Tanko knew. The office staff is knowledgeable and very upbeat. They enjoy their work. I enjoy their work.
Dr. Jordan, Emily, and the team have been nothing less than amazing. I have been seen by Dr. Jordan for over a year now and I have felt major improvements in my back and health. I originally went to go see Dr. Jordan because I was having some pain in my back from a lifting injury, suffered from headaches and I was also having trouble sleeping. I am happy to report that after several appointments at the chiropractic office that my back pain from the injury is no longer there, my headaches have decreased drastically, and I am sleeping much better. You don't realize that feeling those things are not normal until you no longer feel that way. I am so thankful to have a doctor and team that are so kind and welcoming from the moment you walk through the door until the moment you leave. They are also very patient when it comes to working around my crazy schedule which is so helpful. Thank you Dr. Jordan and team for helping me keep my body happy and healthy. I highly recommend the Ankeny Chiropractic Health Center.
They offer more than chiropractic care, they promote good health in many other areas - I'm hooked. I want to be healthy and have an active lifestyle. They are showing me how this is possible.
This one was hard for me to rate!! The Dr Jordan is amazing and talking with him in my appointment I felt hope to feel better with some issues from a car accident a while ago. I had asked my questions about my insurance when I made the appointment and felt like I did all the right steps and made an appointment to come back the next day so the Dr could review my ex Ray's and I go to check out and no one knew if they took my insurance and I was told I could take my ex rays somewhere else if they dont take my insurance and words can describe how I felt all the hope I was feeling after meeting with the Dr was gone and didn't go to my second appointment because I just felt like there really wasn't a point in putting in any more effort!! I want to also say everyone working there are extremely nice and professional that is why it was hard for me to give the rating because the manner they treat the clients is 5 stars but the insurance part bumped it way down in rating!!
This place has given me hope that I can fight scoliosis. It has also taught me that if you put your mind to it, and put hard work into it, you can accomplish anything! Dr. Jordan has helped me decrease my numbers in scoliosis, and now I am non-scoliotic. Dr. Jordan, Emily, Jenna, and Courtney are so nice to me, and they always ask me how my day is going and make sure that I am doing good on the machines! My experience with this place has been great, and I would definitely recommend it to others!
Dr. Jordan, Emily, Courtney and Jena are amazing! The office is always a fun environment to be in and they are so friendly. They all take the time to get to know you better and always ask what’s new in my life. Dr. Jordan’s technique has have given me relief from neck and upper/lower back pain. I am able to sleep more comfortably at night now and sit longer at my desk while at work. Thanks again for all you do!
